Why NBb?

The NB stands for me - Neil Betteridge. I was born in early 60's London, raised in mid-80's Brighton and civilised in late 80's Sweden. Having started my working life as a teacher of English, I moved quickly into the translation business and haven't looked back since.

The little b is for 'benevolent', relating to my commitment to donate a percentage of my translation income to those a little more needy than me - recipient charities past and present include BookAid, Oxfam, Doctors without Borders, IM and SOS Children's Villages.

I hold a postgraduate certificate in translation from the Institute of Linguists, London (1999).

NBb Translations is registered with the Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket) and with the Swedish Tax Office for the purposes of VAT (Moms).
